NativityMiguel Network of Schools Executive Director Retires
Monsignor John Jordan, Executive Director of the NavityMiguel Network of Schools (NMNS) announced his retirement from NMNS Friday, January 9, 2009.
“For over four years, it has been my privilege to lead the NativityMiguel Network from its formative stage to today’s vibrant provider of programs and support of the Network’s 65 schools,” said Monsignor Jordan. “It is now time for me to move forward in my ministry journey.
“These schools continue to be a beacon of hope for our nation’s underserved students. The leadership, faculty and supporters of these schools have been an inspiration to me and I pray for their continued success.”
Board Chairman B. J. Cassin stated, “Monsignor Jordan has been instrumental in developing the NativityMiguel Network. His leadership and hard work has left a legacy of excellence and the NativityMiguel Board is most grateful for his leadership.”
The NativityMiguel Board has named Chairman B. J. Cassin and Board Member William Whitaker to the office of Acting Executive Directors. Reporting to this office will be Terry Shields, Vice President of Missions and Programming, and Greg Naleski, Vice President of Administration and Development. Additionally, Monsignor Jordan will be a consultant to the Network reporting to the Chairman.
A search committee, chaired by Board Member Paul Minorini, will commence a search for Monsignor Jordan’s successor.
