Mission Measurement to Support NMNS in Data Collection and Reporting |
As part of our ongoing commitment to performance measurement, NativityMiguel Network of Schools has deepened our partnership with Mission Measurement (MM). MM specializes in measuring and improving social impact.
Their team works exclusively with social sector organizations,
including foundations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations,
and corporate social responsibility initiatives. MM’s focus is on
improving organizations’ social impact through strategy and measurement
consulting, training, and data services.
NativityMiguel Network of Schools has been working with MM since July
of 2008 in the development of our impact framework and performance
metrics. Many Member schools will remember the MM team from last
year’s National Convention. Beginning this month, MM will lead both
the Member school self assessment survey and the annual data collection
process, which was previously managed by CARA. Previous years’ data
for Member schools will still be available at the CARA website.
As a result of our work with MM, Member schools can expect more robust
data and reporting tools that support individual schools and the
Network as a whole. For instance, the self assessment survey,
launching tomorrow, will now complement collegial visits. Additional
tools and the annual data collection process will be previewed and
discussed in October at this year’s National Convention.
MM has worked with a variety of education-related organizations
including foundations, corporate funders, charter management
organizations, community-based organizations, and schools all focused
on measuring critical student, faculty, school, and community
outcomes. Some of their other clients in education include
KnowledgeWorks Foundation, Nellie Mae Education Foundation, The Ball
Foundation, EdWorks, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, National
Academy Foundation, the Stupski Foundation, and Critso Rey Network.
More on MM can be found at their website: www.missionmeasurement.com.
