Cassin, with all of his experience and insight investing in companies
as a venture capitalist, has often remarked that our business model,
well, quite honestly, stinks. Every year, many of our schools are
raising the final dollars in late June as they close the school year
only to turn around and begin raising some of the first dollars in
early July for the upcoming school year... For NativityMiguel Network
schools, approximately 5% of the yearly operating budget is generated
by tuition with 95% being supported by primarily sponsoring
congregations, foundations, individuals, and corporations with minimal
government funding. "
