NativityMiguel Announces New Director of Mission Effectiveness
Melodie Hessling, who has served as the principal at Nativity Jesuit Middle School (Milwaukee, WI) since 2007, has been named the Director of Mission Effectiveness for the NativityMiguel Network of Schools. Since 2000, Melodie has been working with NativityMiguel Schools.  She began her teaching career at Loyola Academy in St. Louis, MO and then returned to her hometown of Milwaukee, WI in 2001 to teach at Nativity Jesuit Middle School.  While at NJMS, Melodie was a lead teacher, volunteer coordinator and director of summer program at Camp Thunderhead.  After assuming the role of principal, she led the faculty and staff of NJMS in guiding the school’s mission of educating Latino youth for Christian leadership and service.

Melodie is a natural fit for the position as evidenced in her own words: having gained a comprehensive understanding of our schools through these positions and being an active member of the Network’s Principals Council and having participated in a collegial visit in Omaha, I feel I have a well-rounded understanding of the Network’s mission. We are indeed fortunate and blessed to have Melodie joining our Network team. Her competence and passion for the mission will benefit us all.

Melodie holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Educational Leadership and Policy from Marquette University and another in Education from Mount Mary College.  She holds her administrative and teaching license in the State of Wisconsin.
